Welcome to The Vernon Journal. This site serves as a tool to communicate our experiences living and working with the Akha Hilltribe in Northern Thailand. We are Foursquare missionaries living in an Akha village, learning the Akha Language, and partnering with an Akha Foundation. Our vision is to serve the Akha in an holistic ministry to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. This website contains only a portion of our communications about living with the Akha. About Us

We are Foursquare missionaries working for an Akha Foundation in Chiang Rai, Thailand. We are also spending time living in an Akha village in order to learn the Akha Language and and understand more about Akha life.

The Journals are our collection of notes, observations and thoughts as we grow and learn about ministry, life and the Akha.

Media

Media is the new language of communication, and here we will communicate our lives with the Akha through Pictures, Video, Audio and Newsletters.
