:: Bio
I was born and raised in Denver, CO and first felt called to minister overseas at the age of 17. Shortly after that realization (in fall of 1996) God placed Thailand on my heart. Professionally, I have a degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, class of 2001. While in College, I met the most beautiful woman in the world at a coffee shop concert - and we were married nearly two years later in Salem, Oregon. I worked in engineering and land development for Alliance Development Services in Arvada, Colorado for four years - and it was through ADS that we received our first chance to travel to Thailand.
I love living in Thailand, especially among the Akha. It is a difficult adjustment from the lives we led in the States, and there are hard times (especially when it's over 100 degrees) but I love living with the Akha. Though at times we miss friends and family, I would not trade these experiences or this life for anything.
