Added javascript through Feedburner to About Us page of The Vernon Journal-online. This script pulls the two most recent posts in their entirety from Humblethorn (the Personal Blog of Paul Vernon). Possible future adjustments include "Listening to" "Reading" and "Recently Watched" links in similar fashion. This change will also be updated for the personal blog of Lori Vernon once appropriate posts have been added. Updated favicons for TVJ. Added ele.ico, elephant.ico, vj-icw.ico, vj-icw_bck.ico and favicon.ico Most based (generally) on the Papyrus script, VJ and Elephant icons serve as the official logos of TVJ-online collection of sites. |

| There is some confusion in terminology on TVJ-online The whole site is referred to as The Vernon Journal-online The newsletter is referred to as The Vernon Quarterly The blog updates are referred to as The Vernon Journal As this has thus far created very few problems, terms will remain the same. Eventually the blog will reflect the Quarterly term "Journey Notes" and likely be recorded under http://vernonjourneynotes.blogspot.com |
TVJ - blog updates
| Updated previous code on TVJ blog to match TVJ-online. Added RSS feed link to footer and removed XHTML / CSS check pages (there were too many problems internally to posts and at the moment I just can't deal with watching those very closely - once I teach Lori XHTML then we'll see about getting those back on). Now all pages reflect the general feel of Haran's Gila OSWD design - with the obvious adjustments in color and some layout functions. |
